Kia Manawanui Syndicate - Tuhi Mai Tuhi Atu Collaboration Post

Good Morning Everybody! Today we had a special guest, our Manaiakalani facilitator, Ms Heather Collins. We were so excited to finally get our Tuhi Mai Tuhi Atu blogging on the way but had to discuss our group norms first.

Ms Collins reminded us that as Cybersmart bloggers, it is important that our comments are reflective. Other than that it has to be positive, thoughtful and helpful. As a class, we had the opportunity to look at our buddy class's blogs to get a better idea of who they are. We really enjoyed this part as we got to share part of their learning journey thus far.

Next we put our teacher's typing skills to the test as we collaboratively created this blog by sharing our ideas and comments on a google doc. We found the google doc in our Cybersmarts Folder. The instructions were that we had to view and explore the class blogs of Group A and B. Thereafter we shared our comments with Mr Janse and had to wait for the green light before posting our comments.

We also had time to do a sort of scavenger hunt as we searched for the location of our buddy classes. Our buddy classes are in Christchurch and Greymouth. The last instruction was that we needed to do a reflective blog on what we had done today.

We thoroughly enjoyed this experience and can't for our next connection.
