Measuring Volume

IALH: To find the volume of a Cube

What is volume?

Volume measures how much space an object occupies. Sometimes you might hear questions like "what is the capacity of a box?" or "how much can the box hold?" You can assume that these questions will need a volume to be calculated.

First things first is to try and find out how many Vertexes , Edges(sides and faces there are?
6 Face
12 Edges
8 Corners

The formula for the Volume of a cube is ...
- Height X Width X Length
For example if the Length , Width , Height are 5 cm each , Then the equation would be ...
- 5cm X 5cm X 5cm
= 125cm3
