Free Style Writing - Hailstones by Edith

On Tuesday we were very fascinated with the way it rained with hailstones. We were encouraged to descriptively describe this moment. We were required to use figurative language to help us critically describe what we saw, heard and felt.

🌧️In The Moment..Hailstones🌧️
"Tap, tap, tap" gently upon the building,
the cold, frozen water it's not want we need,
the gods must be in a low spirit,
so the hailstones are in all kinds of sizes and speed.

I can hear the water drifting and pouring its way down the roof.
I can hear the tree's whistling as the leaves are in a groove.
A big sheet of grey wants to come cover our sky,
shattering glass, and frozen rain which is now solid ice.

The thunders now coming to join in on the fun,
no more kids playing, and no more bright sun.
Then following are tiny droplets of rain,
"Splish, Splash, Splosh",
It's a slushy based on life, and it just froze my brain.
