Auckland says, "Happy Maori Language Week"

Kia Kaha te reo Māori is the theme for this year’s Māori Language Week. ‘Kia Kaha’ is a well known phrase in New Zealand, meaning ‘be strong’.
So when we say ‘Kia Kaha te Reo Māori’ we’re saying  – ‘Let’s make the Māori language strong’.
Maori Language Week is about raising awareness about Te Reo in New Zealand and promoting the language.

  2. Kia Ora, my name is Parwin and I am a year 8 from Yaldhurst Model School.
I like the fact that you have inserted a photo and that you have also added what kia kaha means and that phrase is very well known because they have used it a lot of when the incident happened in March.

This sort of reminded me of when we did something similar about the incident and I made like a heart and a photo of 2 hands holding on to each other and there was a heart and it had love or something in lots of languages.

I honestly think that you don't have anything to improve on because you have added a lot of things but I think that maybe next time add some more information. Awesome work!

Looking forward to your next posts,
    Parwin
